My Project
I have been so excited to be able to gather with my students again to do read alouds. They seem equally excited, but tend to have some shifting discomfort sitting on our hard floors. I would like to add a nice classroom rug and flexible seating so they can fully enjoy our gathering space time.
I would love to give them a more comfortable gathering space so we can continue comfortably on our reading adventures.
The cushions will also provide flexible seating for writing reflections.
I have actually seen students, kneel at their desks, preferring that position over sitting in chairs. If that's their preference, it's fine with me. Still, I want them safe and comfortable and that's no good for their knees. Usually, they end up resorting back to the chair, but not as a preference.
