My Project

My students will learn how to grow a garden full of fresh, veggies and fruits. By growing healthy food in our classroom, we will ensure 100 percent of the nutritional value won't be lost like grocery produce.

Additionally, growing in our classroom will also eliminate waste.

My class has learned 200 pounds of food is wasted by the average American. With inflation, the cost of food is rising at an alarming rate.

So now seems the perfect time to start growing our own garden. This will serve the school and the surrounding community of Queens Village.
