My Students

I teach in an inclusion classroom (ICT) with students varying in preferences, needs, and learning styles.

My students love to LEARN and have FUN!

I am so blessed to be looping up with my kindergarten class. We have accomplished so much virtually and now, we can delve into the next steps of learning in person! My students are eager to explore their potential and take ownership in our ICT classroom.

With your help, I will be able to provide students with classroom tools and organized learning practices intended for small groups, whole group, and independent practice throughout the day. I would be so grateful for your assistance as I continue to transform my practices and classroom for students. Thank you for your time and for your continued support!

My Project

My classroom is filled with furniture intended to support learning but has proven to be a hassle. We find ourselves looking for "homes" for supplies and common materials. It has become hectic to organize and can be frustrating for my students. I want to ensure my students can easily find common items and I have come to DonorsChoose to make that possible!

A classroom with the proper furniture is such an important indicator of our days together.

I have researched and found furniture pieces that can be moved and accessed by students throughout the year! A communication center will allow students to have a one-stop location for folders and important documents. A library cart will allow us to have a classroom library that is interactive and accessible. Presently, we are using shelves that often make it difficult for my students to get their books. Additionally, an interactive play cart will allow students to have a designated space for exploration centers and choice time. After all, we LOVE having fun while learning. Having a designated space and the furniture allotted for students will allow us to continue our work for weeks!

We need furniture that will allow students to have access to THEIR learning and our supplies! It allows for collaborative and engaging activities. In our classroom, these furniture items would allow my students and me to participate in interactive and shared learning activities. The list goes on!!! We would be so grateful to have an easel in our classroom!
