Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students will be welcomed everyday with a fun and exciting classroom with the help of these items. Kindergarten students are very curious and willing to learn when given the opportunity. The hammock chair, saucer chair and floor cushions offer alternate seatings for the library and floor table. When students have alternate seating they take pride in their learning and apply fully themselves just for the opportunity to sit in the chair again. The floor mats will also be used for the library in place of a rug for not only a fun pattern that students could take turns sitting on but a sanitary option as rugs can tend to get dirty often with children in this age group. The puzzles and wooden blocks serve as fun brain building activities to be used during play and recess time. Students will enjoy using these different puzzles everyday as they have characters, animals and colors that are appropriate for their age.
