My Project

One thing I have learned in my teaching career is that reading is so much more fun when you have a comfortable and fun place to do it in! Our reading corner could use some sprucing up with some new pillows and hanging lights. We could also really use some fun new read alouds to share.

Reading is such an important skill and a fun reading corner makes it so much easier to inspire a love of reading in students.

Our class already loves reading with our stuffed reading buddies in our reading corner, but I'm hoping to make our reading corner even more exciting for students by adding some new decor and books. All the books I have chosen are either fun to read as a class or they highlight the diverse makeup of our classroom and school community
