A Fun and Cozy Classroom

My Project

Covid-19 disrupted the rhythm of learning and made it more difficult for some students to be comfortable in their classrooms environments. We are working hard to improve attendance in our class, and by offering opportunities for games, reading activities (including small read aloud groups), collaborative art projects, and self-directed learning we hope students will be motivated to attend school. These resources will allow us to break our large classroom into smaller learning and playing spaces promoting team work and a sense of belonging. We are also highly focused on promoting Social Emotional Learning, and are interested in expanding our collection of outdoor group games for students to spend time playing and bonding together.
