My Project

All of my kindergartners are autistic. They are studying at my school for the first time this year. As an autistic person, they are extremely organized.  Everything had to be lined up and organized.  Structure and color-coding appeal to them.

While I'm teaching, an organized classroom will help them stay calm and focused. 

I'm requesting 1" blinders so that I can distribute their classwork in different subject subfolders so they can easily see their improvements. To keep my students organized, I am requesting a color ring and index cards, which can be reviewed on the go. All of these items will help them stay organized. My ultimate goal is to make my classroom a second home for my students, where they feel safe and ready to learn.
