My Project

As the beginning of the school year quickly starts to approach, I always like to reflect on previous years and see what I could get to better support my students. This usually just includes basics, such as glue, scissors, crayons, etc. and while you may find some of those on my supply list here, I also decided to take a more thorough look.

Supporting my students is what will always be at the forefront of my teaching.

Some of the items I'm most excited about are the wobble cushions and binding machine. Last year, the students loved the wobble cushions but I only had 3. Having more will allow for students to be able to become more independent in deciding when they would like to use them and have access to them at all times. The binding machine will be a big help as well! Often times, the curriculum I'm using is best supported by additional materials. This requires a lot of copies. Having the ability to create custom tailored books to individual students needs will be a game changer!

Some other items you'll find on my list include a carpet that allows students to each have their own spot, a lap pad for students who can use it at their own discretion, lock snap containers/caddies/photo boxes for storage, pen pals for holding our pencils, and a brand new treasure chest and prizes.

Overall, the students in my class always come to school ready to learn and I hope with your support and these tools that I can come even more ready to teach.
