I am so eager to begin my 12th year teaching! After many years of education in public schools, much of my students' favorite furniture and classroom items are no longer in great shape! The items in this project will allow for me to give a face lift to my classroom to begin the year strong!
The chair, rug, and book bins will grow and refresh my classroom library; giving students a place to browse, sit, and read amazing novels.
The novel sets will allow my students to participate in the Global Read Aloud, an opportunity to collaborate with students worldwide who read the same novel in October. This, in turn, will bring out the Global Citizens in my classroom!
Finally, the single novels in this set will support my Social Studies curriculum by providing diverse perspectives. Additionally, we know students love graphic novels! These award-winning graphic novels will engage all readers in the room.
