Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

You would think children will rejoice that schools have closed down, but not my students. My students miss their classmates, the classroom, the daily classroom routines, and even their teacher.

A world pandemic won't stop my kids learning.

My kids show up every day for our Zoom class. They bring their enthusiasm and hunger to keep on learning. They have become my little heroes.

My Project

Recognition for our hard work is something that keeps us working even harder. This is exactly what I want my students to feel. Learning from home can sometimes feel empty, but when I can give my students laminated awards for keeping track of their work, it can be beyond rewarding.

The laminating machine will not only make their awards last forever, but it will also capture the sense of accomplishment during these uncertain times.

In addition to printing out and laminating their certificates, I can laminate their work for safekeeping. The best part of this project is, once we go back to "normal" this laminator will be used for many years with many different classes.
