A Football in Your Hand Can Change Your Life

Help me give my students footballs so that we can start an 8-player football team.

My Project

These footballs will provide an opportunity for our students to participate in a sport that most kids take for granted. We belong to a very rural community and have never had enough kids to participate in football, until 8-player football that is. We are looking to start an 8-player football team in the fall, and we need everything. Our students have been excited for the opportunity to play football ever since they found out that it was now an option.

I am a firm believer that football changes lives, and these footballs will provide an opportunity to our kids that no one in this community has ever had.

To quote the great Vince Lombardi, “Football is like life. It requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and respect for authority.” What better way to help students grow mentally and physically than through the great game of football.
