My Project

The students in my gardening/greenhouse seminar and members of the Gardening Club are amazing. They spend a lot of time each week watering, pruning, propagating, weeding, and pest control.

Because we are so successful, some of our plants--including decades-old philodendrons, statuesque lemon trees, and even an avocado tree--need larger planters to make sure they grow to their maximum potential in our sunny atrium and greenhouse spaces.

Although our school provides resources such as potting mix and smaller terra cotta pots, we hope to have these sturdy jumbo planters donated by our school community and other supporters of gardening in high schools.
