My Project

I am requesting a few items to make our math AIS room a little nicer. The space is small, so I am trying to maximize every little part of the room for success!

The first item is tennis balls for the chairs.

These go onto each leg of the student chairs, and they make the room quieter as students slide chairs in and out from the table. There are two math groups happening at the same time, and we can have up to 12 people in the small room. Every little bit of noise reduction helps! These tennis balls also help to preserve the floors as much as we can. Throughout the day, we have 70 students in and out of our room, and as they are constantly moving the chairs to sit down, the floor would get pretty scratched up! With these tennis balls, they slide softly on the floor.

The second item is a computer speaker. Our space is right next to the gymnasium. So, it can get loud! We often have soft instrumental music playing in the background to drown out the noise. The current speakers are breaking down and only work occasionally. New speakers would allow for a calm environment for learning.

The third item is the computer monitor stand. This will allow there to be room on my tiny tech cart (which is also my teacher desk) to fit the computer speakers under the monitor.
