Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It would be great to give my students a holiday favor for their favorite holiday. I am requesting squishy toys, pop its sensory toys and slime balls for my students to have during their winter break for the holidays. Students in elementary school like to small items that they can hold in their hands. I want to give them these items to remind them over the break that I am thinking of them and hope they are feeling safe and happy so that when they return they will be ready to more forward. I also realize that many of my students may not receive a lot of gifts for Christmas, so these small tokens can make a big difference in how they feel about themselves. Just these little things that they can hold in their hand can provide evidence that somebody cares about them and how they are doing. Thank you for considering funding this project.
