My Students

My students are young, excited learners with diverse backgrounds. They are always eager to take on new challenges and explore. My students are high achievers yet, from various different economic backgrounds. Our school is considered to be a school of need according to the number of students that qualify financially for the free lunch programs.

My students are very active; therefore, I try to create projects that keep them moving, thinking, and challenging.

With students eager to learn, I definitely want to make sure that I have the necessary resources for them to complete their projects.

My Project

My track team will begin preparing for the season soon. We will spend long days at the track meet and practice a couple of hours after school each day. Due to the intense training and many track meets, my students carry with them track clothes, shoes, drinks, hats, and track accessories; therefore, they need matching team duffel bags to carry their items in.

I would look for my team to look unified, so that is why I am requesting these duffel bags.

In addition, many of my students can't afford all of the team items needed for track season. Overall, providing my students with duffel bags will make our team look unified, but will also provide them with something to carry their items in.
