Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of my students are from low-socioeconomic backgrounds and are mostly first generation English learners. They are eager and willing to build their love for language acquisition and reading.

They are beaming with potential to make an impact in their own language development and having a classroom library that is culturally responsive will foster their love for reading.

Every student deserves access to reading materials in their own classroom. Independent reading, book clubs, book talks, and book shares are going to be common practice in our class with your help!
