Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At my school, we happily see over 470 students on a daily basis. This goes for the school library too! Their school is honestly their home away from home. It makes me so happy to know that coming to see the library gives them that smile for the day!

My students are constantly given opportunities and positive reinforcement in all that they do!

If they didn't hear it from their parents at home, then they most definitely will, at school!

My students love scented stickers when they visit the library! After we read a book together, we color and I love to use ziplock bags to give students their own crayons. They love to decorate their crayon bags with stickers. There are times where I make students their own ABC book and it is hard to staple them using a standard stapler. This electronic would be of so much help! They have also asked me for more books so I hope to continue to keep adding to my collection.

Please help me continue with some of these basic supplies that I use on a daily basis with my students. Thank you!
