Studio One is an incredible art course offered at a Title one school in Phoenix.
This course is an intermediate art course focusing on drawing and painting and is apart of the IB MYP program.
This course better prepares students for life by providing them with a creative area where they are free to explore their identity, skills, and individual style through a project based setting. These students are unique individuals coming from who demonstrate perseverance on a regular basis.
Visual arts teaches students life skills such as giving/receiving feedback, problem-solving, thinking outside of the box, and showing determination to see a project till the end.
My Project
Prismacolors will help students achieve stronger studio pieces which will boost their self-esteem and confidence knowing they can do anything they set their minds to.
Prismacolors are a better quality of color pencil, they are softer than regular color pencils and achieve smoother results as well as blend better.
Creating art is a form of expression and being able to use professional materials will help these students have opportunities that other high schools offer.
Prismacolors are not in our budget and by donating, I'm hoping that I can inspire my students to go above and beyond. Please consider helping out!
