This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is the desire they have to learn more every day. They arrive every morning eager to learn new information and concepts. The students who I teach are children with different learning disabilities. Although my students learning disabilities vary, they are always encouraged to work to their full capacity. They are striving each day academically, to improve and achieve their academic goals.

After being cooped up at home for almost 2 years, it feels different to return to school in person, for this reason I want to prepare my classroom in a way that all students feel welcome and warm.

Now, I am hoping to replenish the supplies necessary so that my incoming class will have the basic resources for their academic success.

For example the Cricut machine and its accessories, are items that would benefit our classroom. This machine will create a welcome and beautiful learning environment. Creating a welcoming environment will help our learners focus on task and promote student growth.
