This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach reading intervention to 38 enthusiastic students spanning kindergarten through second grade. Witnessing the beginning of their love for learning fills me with immense joy. To nurture their creativity and enthusiasm, I strive to keep my lessons, activities, and daily routines fresh and engaging, sparking their imagination and deepening their desire to learn.
The Cricut would be an incredible resource in my classroom, offering endless possibilities for creative projects that can enhance both learning and classroom culture.
It allows students to utilize a novel technology to express themselves in fun and innovative ways, from designing personalized bulletin boards that reflect their interests to creating custom labels for folders and supplies. The Cricut also offers the opportunity for hands-on crafting, such as enabling students to make t-shirts, fostering a sense of pride and unity in the classroom. With its easy-to-use design features, the Cricut can help bring student ideas to life, promoting creativity, fine motor skills, and teamwork while creating a visually engaging environment for both learning and self-expression.
