A Cozy Place for Musical Musings!

My Students

I teach Elementary Music to Kindergarten through Third Grade at an amazing school located Chester Pa. My scholars are bright, talented, and energetic with a love for all things musical. We love exploring instruments especially percussive, lifting our voices in song and expressing ourselves through movement and dance.

My classroom is about both celebrating and exploring music and developing a general sense of friendship.

The work we do in my music room is building confidence, exploring instruments, following directions, and fostering a warm and welcome environment.

My Project

A classroom rug will help my scholars with playing musical games and connecting with one another. As of right now we do most of our instruction by our desks and seats and it is difficult to facilitate guided movement and general games when there are desks as their only "home base".

The rug that I have selected will help my scholars by giving them additional seating options that make more sense with a musical learning environment.

In addition, it would provide a cozy spot closer to the smart board. It will also make it much easier for both large and small instrument instruction, movement games, music stations plus general circle/meeting times.
