Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A classroom rug is an important learning space in the classroom. The classroom rug is really the center of the classroom. Most of our learning takes place on the classroom rug. This rug will be new, bright and inviting.

When students come together as a class on the classroom rug, many skills are being developed and skills to connect as a classroom family are built.

Carpet time supports early learners' academic and social emotional skills. On the classroom rug, students will start and end their day at the rug. This rug will help students establish boundaries in finding their own space and assist with daily routines. This rug will provide a welcoming environment for current and future students. This rug will provide a happy and safe place for my students.
