My Students

My students come from a low income urban community. The school is limited on funds and supplies. The students are ready to learn but are lacking some important materials. I also have some students with special needs who need extra care. I want-to provide my students with the best learning environment. My school is a renewal school which means the state test scores are very low and the school is at risk of failing evaluation. Please help my students get the materials they need to succeed.

My Project

The book bins will provide each student with the room for their reading and writing workshop materials because there is not enough room in their SHARED desks. The bins will keep their materials safe and organized in order to be utilized in the classroom. The students will gain a better sense of organizational skills. The carpet will be used in the classroom library to provide a cozy place for the children to read into a land of imagination. When a library looks comfortable, colorful and inviting, the students will be more likely to spend more time reading. Please help our classroom!
