My Project

Research has shown that students with access to calming corners greatly improves not just academic outcomes, but social-emotional development as well. It's a place where every child can play, learn, and grow together without any worries. With soft textures, soothing colors, and gentle sounds, this special spot creates a haven for relaxation and focus.

All students deserve a space in their classroom that is a sensory-safe place for them to regulate their emotions and relax.

These items will help our students with disabilities as well as our students in the general education department. For kids with sensory sensitivities or special needs, this space is like a superhero cape, offering a break from overwhelming experiences and helping them feel calm and centered.

These items will help us provide that for them! The timers, flexible seating, fidget tools, and other sensory items will provide a calm-down corner that allows them to rest and reset. It's like a secret ingredient that makes learning even more exciting and enjoyable for every little adventurer. So, let's make this space a haven where imaginations run wild and friendships blossom!
