My Students

The students are excited to investigate the world around them together in our classroom. In and out of the classroom the children become the teachers of their learning, inventors, creators, artists, musicians, citizens of the world, authors, and much more. We are learning and working together in a special community where inquiry and discovery-based learning are encouraged.

Curious, inquisitive, and excited are just a few words that come to mind about my students!

Each and every child is ecstatic about bringing his/her own ideas to the learning evolving in the classroom.

My Project

My students are excited to discover and read new books. We are working together to create a cozy area in our classroom where our students will be able to sit, listen to audio books, and browse through books on a shelf. Here, the students will be able to choose audio books of their choice and listen through a CD player and headphones. They will be able to choose from an assortment of audio books that range from stories to songs. There will also be an assortment of books available in the cozy area on a bookshelf, so that the students will have close access to a wide variety of books. While they read and listen to stories, the students will be able to sit on a soft rug, a reading bench, or in a special reading chair.

When students visit the cozy reading area, they will be able to find a serene place that invites them to read in peace and in an enjoyable setting.
