My Project

My students are an excited, fun-loving group, and they truly love to learn. Our classroom is on the second floor of an old school building, and our air conditioning system. Our windows do not all open, and the ones that do cannot create enough air flow in the classroom, even in the cold winter months.

The intense heat year-round makes it hard to focus on learning, and instead, my eager learners are lethargic and tired.

With a portable air conditioning unit, we could better control the temperature of the room. My students could learn comfortably, and they would be less distracted by the heat and outside noise. This project would not only benefit my current students, but students in many years to come.
