This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our classroom is filled with newly arrived immigrants ready to learn English. We desperately need a desktop computer to provide access to videos, classroom projects, specialized programs, and additional learning.

We plan to utilize this technology to create materials, print pictures and vocabulary, and have a central location to create group projects.

My students as new arrivals often have trouble communicating but seem to take quickly to technology and are able to utilize it quickly and efficiently to do both individual and group assignments.

This desktop computer will allow them to work collaboratively to access and disseminate information
