My Students

The students at my school need more access to technology, not only to compete on the standardized tests, but also to prepare them for the rigors of high school. Many students have cell phones, but that doesn't provide them with the proper typing skills that they need to be successful.

My awesome students come from a school which has been ranked as the economically poorest section of Los Angeles.

These wonderful students deserve the opportunity that every child should have to be successful in our modern, technologically-savvy country.

My Project

My students will use these Chromebooks to edit and type their writing assignments. They will also access numerous websites which are required for class, Many have to go to the library after school to have access to them. These Chromebooks will also help my students with their cross-curricular projects, which will help them achieve in all of their core-subject classes.

Students will be better prepared for standardized testing, but also ready for high school and college by developing the real-world skills necessary for today's workforce.
