Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I really love that my Kindergarteners enjoy listening and viewing virtual Read-alouds. Also, I love that they really enjoy listening to me reading to them, the traditional way; as if we were in class for a whole group reading lesson. My class is an amazing group of kindergartners that love to predict and discuss what they have learned, from each text they had heard in our virtual setup. Also, they enjoy making anchor charts, writing, and drawing about the text that we have read in class. They would also discuss this with their classmates and enjoy doing so.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my Kindergarten class will be used back in September for face-to-face learning. After being a whole year learning from home, I will like to make their welcome just as if they never left their comfy homes. Students will take advantage of each school material as they are needed in class. They can use their journals, glue sticks, pencils, crayons, etc; either it is for ELA, Math, Science, or Social Studies subjects. Students will have the opportunity to be prepared to learn and have their materials set for them to start with a great school year.
