Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of fun loving kids who want to learn! Many of my students are English Language Learners and have limited exposure to English at home, so as their teacher it is my responsibility to expose them to as much as possible. My school has limited resources and we work hard to provide as much for our students as possible.

This is what my school is all about. We try to give our students all of the knowledge we can, however we can, so that they are able to continue and grow into amazing young people who will change the world.

My Project

My students currently sit on the hard cold floor during circle time and during group instruction throughout the day because we have no rug in the class.

Giving my students these mats as a comfy place to learn will allow them to put their best foot forward.

They will be able to focus on instruction and discussion rather then how uncomfortable they are sitting on the cold hard floor.

This will also give my students a place for them to work on group work rather then them having to sit at their desks all day long. These mats will impact my students learning and give them a better chance at success!
