Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consists of 21 wonderful and curious students who are learning to read and use technology. Due to the pandemic, this is the first year my students have been in a consistent classroom since 2020. My students have so much potential and are missing some key resources. They work super hard and they are eager and excited to learn. We are a Title I school and all of our students receive free meals throughout the day.

My Project

Classroom libraries affect a student's desire to pick up their favorite book to read. If the library is inviting and organized, students tend to use it more. My goal for this project is to be able to have a wonderful area for my class library. The rug and chairs will provide a beautiful setting for my students.

Additionally, I have included some wonderful books for students to choose from that are related to STEM!

As well as some zombie books that are of high interest for my students, especially my boys! These books will enrich my classroom library even more.
