Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first year teacher for a Special Education classroom, I have learned so much from my students as well as what they need to assist with their individual needs. The students I service require a calm and safe space and activities that are engaging. The items requested will give my students a safe space where they can sit down and relax and engage in activities that can assist them. The building blocks and activities for my students are not only to have fun and be creative but it will also help them work on their motor skills.

My goal is to provide my students with a space that will allow them to feel comfortable and safe while they are in my care.

I hope the space will not only make them feel at ease but will motivate them and help them with both their individual and academic needs.
