This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are amazing and work really hard to learn and grow! We are a title 1 school with a highly diverse population. Our classroom is a place where my students can come to feel safe and focus on learning! I want to help my students feel even more comfortable with a nice rug that they will use all day long.

By donating for this rug you will help 28 first graders feel safe and comfortable to make as much academic achievement as possible.

This rug will be used for class meetings, whole group learning, and independent reading time as well. It will give them a comfortable place to learn all our curriculum so they can focus on the content of what we are learning. Please donate to help my students have a classroom that facilitates growth and learning!
