My Project

"A Rainbow of Resources," is how I describe our request to make a difference in our classrooms for learning. Our 3rd grade pod works with the special education population for our Title I school and we look for all opportunities for our students to be successful. When it comes to creating materials for our students to use in whole group lessons, small group, and independent work having a printer we can rely on for our pod is so very important. Creating colorful manipulatives, games and study guides gives our students engaging materials that they get excited about using and continuing to share with their classmates.

We are teachers reaching out to find the resources we need to engage our students.

As respectful and responsible individuals in our community, we are sensitive about our resources. We will continue to reuse our creations by laminating them and using plastic sleeves to protect the copies we have made. Our 3rd-grade pod has some of the most amazingly creative teachers who design and create manipulatives, games, and resources to assist with scaffolding and meeting our special students where they are. Your assistance with funding our project will assist our teachers with completing and making our much-needed study guides for SOLs and manipulatives our students need to assist them with the differentiation of our lessons. We thank you for taking the time to acknowledge our requests for your assistance. We look forward to your response with great appreciation.
