Thank you for peeking at Mrs. Moen's Colorful Kindergarten Adventure project. This will be my first year teaching. I have had the pleasure of shadowing multiple classrooms and learned what makes each of them great. Through these opportunities, I have realized what I believe will make a kindergarten class go from "a scary first day" to a fun and appealing place to learn- year-round.
This project centers around bringing a visually stimulating classroom by incorporating exciting, engaging, and organized classroom materials and decor of all colors.
The items in this project were specially chosen to benefit the children in all areas of need, but specifically sensory needs. Some items appeal to a child's natural curiosity about textures, sounds, and perceptions. Notable items in this project are noise-canceling headphones, fidget toys, rainbow chew necklaces, Play-Doh, organizers, and colorful classroom decor.
