Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Each art class begins with a song or cheer based on our lesson for day. The lesson is introduced in an intimate setting on the rug. Then students walk quickly with excitement to do the art project!

My students are from a low income neighborhood in an urban setting.

We are title 1 school. My school is a prekindergarten to fifth grade elementary school. My students range from prekindergarten to third and they find confidence in my art classroom.

My Project

The activities my students will be able to do is use the books as a motivation for the art lessons. Use of the markers and paint to work on the project in a clean and engaging environment. They will learn all the necessary components that my art classroom has to offer.

Donations for this projects will improve my classroom because students will be more engaged with a hands on experience in my art room.

This will change my students lives for the better because this will create a platform for learning.
