This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This coming school I will be teaching 5th grade. My 5th grade students this coming school year were my 2nd and 3rd grade students previously. We developed strong bonds during our time together! My students are loving, caring, bright, unique and amazing children! They have a capacity for caring, helping, sharing and exploring that goes beyond their years. To be their dual language (English & Spanish) teacher again, honors me! They remind me of why I became a teacher- to help others, to advocate and give back to the community. I’m thankful to have my little Wolf Pack back for a 3rd year!
My Project
Oh, the excitement of coming back to the classroom this September is indescribable for all of us! This past year has been tough on everyone, particularly children. Some have been away from the classroom environment for over a year while others have had to adapt to a very different classroom setup.
Please help me provide my students with a colorful and motivational classroom that will welcome my little ones back to an environment they miss and cherish!
I truly want to make this year an amazing social emotional and educational experience for all of my students. This is where your donations will help me provide them with an updated, colorful and mature classroom decor. While the motivational illustrations and posters will help my students reflect on their social emotional and educational experiences. Having a colorful and motivating classroom is just the right way to begin a school year that will be filled with challenges and achievements. Especially this year, classroom decor will allow students to seek comfort in the different positive statements around the classroom.
