This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our scholars are a phenomenal group of kids from highly diverse backgrounds. Our socioeconomic diversity allows us to bring together students from various communities throughout our city to create a unique, collaborative environment. No matter where they come from, our scholars enter class excited and eager to learn. A typical day in our classroom is filled with creativity, passion, and energy!
My students have unlimited potential and believe in their own infinite possibilities.
Often, many of them come to class lacking basic, necessary supplies. They dream helping their families and reaching their full potential. With your help, we can acquire the tools and skills to reach those goals.
My Project
As a teacher, my mission is to end boredom in the classroom by bringing magical moments to learning every single week! I try to make countless hands-on activities and resources for my students, including custom trading cards (similar to cards from Pokémon or MTG) that students use to engage in lessons and activities. With limited access to colored printing, some activities aren't as engaging as the could be.
A colored printer will help me create colorful and engaging learning activities for students in my gamified classroom.
