This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my current classroom, we are in need of a color printer. I would love to be able to bring mathematics to life with eye-catching figures and images to enhance their learning experience. I can especially see this being beneficial with my calculus students as we begin to delve into the upcoming units that involve graphs and real-life word problems.

With the access to a color printer, I will not only be able to provide detailed mathematical figures, but also be able to create colorful posters that encapsulate the main topics for each of our learning targets.

I teach a variety of students, some of which have IEPs. This color printer will allow me to create organized, color-coded lessons, which can facilitate learning with a special need.
