Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a Special Education teacher working in the South Bronx, I can list the students' needs and deficits because the list is long and easy to write, but I won't. Instead, I will write about what they are.

My students are funny and amazing children.

They're kind-hearted. They're hard working. They're silly and crazy at times. They're dedicated to their friends and family. They are striving to make their lives and community a better place. They are third graders and they deserve.

My Project

A clean environment is a good learning environment! It's important that my students feel like the classroom is a safe and clean place for them to be in. I want to show them that they are cared for through taking care of the room. The Clorox wipes, hand sanitizers, and cleaning sprays will help clean tables and keep germs away. The paper towels are necessary to clean up any other messes. The facial tissues will be used to sooth noses during the winter months. The broom will be used to ensure that the floor is as clean as their desks.
