This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Cleaning supplies are important in every classroom! It will make a huge difference and an impact in school attendance. I have 23 students in a very small classroom. I teach first grade bilingual which means all the materials and supplies are double. The extra materials get dusty and cause healthy issues. These cleaning wipes, dusters, paper towels, and broom will provide a cleaner and healthier environment to my students. I have students who suffer asthma and allergy related issues. This is one of the reasons why it is imperative to keep the classroom environment clean to have healthy students not spreading germs, to lower absences and helping to improve attendance.

My goal for this project is to use the supplies and cleaning materials to leave my classroom ready, clean and disinfected for the next day before students arrive, but most importantly to help my students with health issues and increase attendance.

My students are special because even when they are sick, they try to come to school to learn and strive for their best, but a sick student will be out of focus and won't be able to learn. Help me fund this project to have a healthy and clean environment for my students to feel safe, be healthy and come to school everyday without health related issues.
