My Project

I teach fifth grade at an urban charter school in Michigan. My students are eager and inquisitive and want to learn. With the right tools, my students will have even more opportunities to learn and grow and practice 21st-century skills.

As we prepare for what learning will look like in a post-pandemic world where COVID remains a very real threat, it is important that we are keeping our bodies healthy and our classrooms clean.

For this reason, I have requested several items that will help us achieve that goal. The hand sanitizer will help clean our hands after we sneeze, use a tissue, or touch shared supplies. The Kleenex will help us make sure we have enough tissues during the sniffly cold and flu season. Finally, the sanitizing wipes will help us disinfect surfaces in between classes.
