This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second graders absolutely love coming together once a week for thirty minutes to share personal anecdotes and silly stories from our lives. We normally meet on our classroom rug.

The rug is also the place where students come to learn.

They love looking up at the whiteboard with eager expressions as they learn about different topics ranging from fairytales to three digit addition.

The rug also feels cozy to them when they lay on their backs and bellies at the end of the day to complete their online minutes for math and reading.

Unfortunately, our current classroom rug has been used for a while now and we are in need of a new one!

Please help me provide a new rug for my littles. I would be eternally grateful.
