My Students

Our students are a diverse group of learners who speak several different languages. Although many come from different countries, we have come together to form an amazing community. My students are a very fun, loving, and very active group of kids. Our school is a lower income school with almost half of our students who receive free or reduced-price lunch. Although my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom, they still come to school with smiles on their faces and ready to learn.

My Project

Students will use the seat spots to sit around the room during independent reading. The books will also be used during independent reading. My students will have the choice of choosing books in our classroom library to help become better readers! Favorite titles such as Amelia Bedelia, Pete the Cat, Biscuit, and Splat the Cat will be added to our library for students to read. All these books will help interest my class and help to improve their love of reading! Your donation will help my students become successful in their education and provide them with the resources they deserve in a classroom.
