My Students

Hello! I am the first grade remote teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. My students have all opted to learn from home this year instead of doing a Blended learning model. I currently have 30 students of which 8 of them are English language learners and 2 students who are part of the ICT program. My class ranges in academic abilities as well as English proficiency. After teaching STEM for the last 3 years I am excited to go back into the classroom (even if it is from home) and teach these first grade cuties.

My Project

I am writing this project so I can provide my students with visuals on charts while working remotely.I am trying to set up my office to resemble a first grade classroom.

There is no reason my students shouldn't get the same experience just because they are learning remotely.

I will be using the easel to display a pocket cart to show the letter cards I will be using during Fundations. I will also be using it to display conversation starters for my English language learners. I will be using the chart paper to create anchor charts as tools to be used during reading, writing, and math. I know that this is a strange time so anything I can do to make things seem like they were before this pandemic I will. Thank you
