My Students

I teach for district 75 Special Education. My students are a 6:1:1 Alternate Assessment. I teach a total of 6 students with learning disabilities. Each student has their own personality and their own way of learning. They are smart, lovely, energetic children. I work with students with mild to severe disabilities. My classroom has many different learners with many different learning styles. We follow a curriculum to best teach our children in the classroom. As well as teach them social skills and many other skills.

My Project

I'am a special education teacher working with grades K-2 in Brooklyn, New York. I teach in a very diverse population.This year is my first year teaching. Before teaching, I was a paraprofessional working one-on-one with special needs students. I currently do not have an easel for my students.

An easel is an enormous essential part of the classroom.

Having an easel will greatly benefit my students. I plan to do a lot of work with the easel. This easel will completely meet all of my teaching goals. Please help me in supporting with providing the best learning environment for my students.
