Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I absolutely love how diverse my class is. I have students who are from different cultural backgrounds, speak different languages/Spanish dialects, and have unique personalities. The majority of my students are English language learners. I also have students with special needs. I absolutely love how I have created a classroom culture of love, respect, and acceptance. My students love coming to school and spending time with one another.

I enjoy getting to know my students more each and every day, and they are a blast to be around!

My Project

The students in my classroom all have such diverse sensory and social-emotional learning needs, it's such an adventure to learn each of them! The materials from this DonorsChoose will help my students regulate their needs as needed, as well as provide opportunities to grow socially with their peers and increase reading skills.

Having items such as fidgets, sensory bins, theraputty, oral sensory toys for biting, and motivational stickers will allow my students to have better focus in their seats and during classroom lessons.

My students are so talented and I would love to provide them with awesome tools to enhance their potential in the classroom!
