My Students

Our students face the pressure of taking the New York State Exam and for some third graders that pressure is stressful. We want to remove the test anxiety. We want our students to soar to success with us this year. Our 3rd grades are a variety of learners eager to learn. Our favorite book is "The Junkyard Wonders." Just like the students from the book, together we are going to soar up, up, and away. Our students are treasures waiting to be found and discovered.

As their teachers, it's vital for us to reveal the treasures we have in our class.

Our students learn in a multiple of ways. They need to be engaged and motivated to access the curriculum. This year our students will establish their self-confidence by believing in themselves and seeing the geniuses that they are. Our classroom is going to the place of "wondrous possibilities."

My Project

We asked for the following options: portable desk, foldable cushion, and the wobble chair for our students to select their seats to keep them focused and able to process information during any lesson throughout the day.

These items will keep our students engaged and motivated!

As per our learning survey, our students learn best in multiple ways. Some of our students need opportunities to move around and flexible seating in order to learn best. We are creating a classroom environment that is accepting to all the learners and identifying what is just right for "ME."
