Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the end of the year rapidly approaches, we are excited to prepare for our moving-up ceremony. This is a significant milestone, especially for our fifth graders, as they transition to middle school and embrace new challenges. Change can be both exciting and overwhelming, and this celebration will help make their transition more comforting.

The materials I have requested will allow me to create a special end-of-year celebration that honors my students’ hard work and achievements in a caring and supportive way.

With a luau-themed celebration, we will recognize their dedication displayed throughout the year while providing a fun and meaningful way to close this chapter of their elementary school experience. Items such as leis, party favors, tablecloths, signs, and certificates will help transform our classroom into a tropical paradise, making the environment stress free and even more special for them.

Your generosity will make it possible to give my students a well-deserved celebration, fostering confidence and joy as they move forward. The drawstring bags will hold books, treats, and crafts to help ease their anxiety moving to middle school. Thank you for your kindness and support in helping me show my students I came about them and their educational journey.
