Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are serious computer scientists in the making! My Mobile Apps students are highly motivated and passionate about technology. In our class, we learn by doing and experimenting with code. Programming can be frustrating, however, we fine-tune our skills with every "bug" in our program. We are learning useful skills to make us well-rounded technologists.

We are on our way to getting certified as Microsoft Office Specialists; 75% of those who took all three tests in our last cohort reached this goal.

We are getting job-ready and preparing to be leaders that will make tomorrow a better place to live.

My Project

I am requesting some resources that will help me give my students a soothing environment that will bring some inner peace and joy to them as we get back to school during uncertain and troubling times.

A classroom is often an escape for my students that come from rough or under-resourced families and walking into a room that looks and smells good will help them relax and focus on learning.

Please help me get supplies like aromatherapy and planters for my new plants to create a peaceful ambience my students will enjoy.
